1. THE LATEST AND GREATEST BOATS will be on display at the 23rd annual

Lido Yacht Expo, a showcase featuring more than 100 2002 boat models. It

will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. today through Sunday at the Lido Marina

Village, 3400 Via Oporto, Newport Beach. $8, children 12 and younger are

2. HELP SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE as the CHOC Inside Out Regatta,

sponsored by the Balboa Yacht Club, raises funds for the hospital

Saturday. The event will begin with a skippers’ meeting at 10 a.m. at the

yacht club at 1801 Bayside Drive, Corona del Mar. Entry forms are

3. THE NINTH ANNUAL Walk to Cure Diabetes, sponsored by the Orange

County Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, will take
