WEDDINGS

Dr. Longhang Nguyen of San Pablo and Dr. Kevin Fell of Newport Beach

exchanged wedding vows on the campus of UC Berkeley on July 14.

The bride is the daughter of Thanh Nguyen and Phulong Nguyen of San

Pablo. She wore a long, white tulle gown with a satin bodice. The bodice,

covered with tiny bugle beads, was handmade by the groom’s mother, Judge

Sheila Fell of Orange County Superior Court, who also performed the

marriage ceremony. There were no bridesmaids.

The groom is the son of Sheila Fell and Keith Meyer and Alan Fell and

Vikki Fell of Newport Beach.

The best man was the groom’s brother, Michael Fell. Other groomsmen

were Longhai Nguyen, Joseph Gee and Adrian An Nguyen. Flower girls were

Nikki Sosa, Regina Horder, Nabby Tervet and Jacqueline Nguyen.

The bride and groom are both physicians in San Jose. They met while

working on their bachelor’s degrees at UC Berkeley.

Smith-Taylor

Rhonda Smith and Scott Taylor, both of Aliso Viejo, exchanged wedding

vows at The Big House in Newport Beach on Aug. 4.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Cheri Smith of Mission Viejo.

The maid of honor was Courtney Hylton, and the bridesmaids were Deanna

Centurini, Katie Rinderknecht, Kelly Rinderknecht and Lindsay Smith. The

junior bridesmaids were Jordan Smith and Brittany Beauchamp, and the

flower girls were Ashlee Taylor and Brynne Beauchamp.

The groom is the son of John and Judi Taylor of Costa Mesa.

The best man was Dan Cunningham, and the groomsmen were Mike Kennedy,

Brian Kreutzkamp, Tim Taylor and Ryan Taylor. The ring bearer was Robert

Beauchamp.

All wedding party members -- except the children -- are Costa Mesa

High School graduates.

The reception was held at The Big House and was attended by 200

guests.

The bride is employed by Corona Medical Center, and the groom works

for Santa Margarita High School.
