Save Our Youth basketball fund-raiser

Save Our Youth Center will host a five-on-five basketball tournament

today to raise money for the nonprofit organization.

The center expects about 60 youths to participate in the tournament.

Participants will be divided into eight teams. Children ranging from 11

to 17 will compete in separate divisions in the double-deal tournament.

The center is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and

providing them with guidance and assistance. Center officials hope to

raise enough money to offer more summer activities for Costa Mesa youth.

The tournament is at 10 a.m. at 661 Hamilton St. Costa Mesa.
