WEATHER FORECAST

The 60s are back. No, they’re really not, as temperatures in the 60s

overnight will head toward the 70s and before noon. Expect partly cloudy

to sunny weather, with many warm moments. One of those moments -- at

around noon -- will feel like its 90, but actually it’s only 81 degrees.

A ultraviolet index of six is expected from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., so wear

sunscreen if you’re going out. At 3 p.m., temperatures will hit their

high of 83. It’s all down from there -- cooling off to the lower 70s by 8

p.m. Clear moonlight skies overnight.

BOATING FORECAST

Variable is the word for the winds, both close to shore and further

out. Expect winds of 10 knots or less in the morning with a 3 foot swell

from the southwest close to shore. At night, the winds are expected to

start blowing from the southeast at 10 knots.

Further out, expect a northwest swell of 7 feet to last throughout the

day. Wind waves of 1 foot or less are expected at night, when the winds

will start blowing southeast at 10 knots.

SURF

That small southwest swell is going away, along with the northwest

swell and that tiny bit of wind swell we’ve been getting. It’s all just

fading. Waist- to chest-high breaks can be found at some places.
