Coach Perkins said his son is Mesa player who had closest bond with

Colby. The two were best friends.

The Eagles’ speedy deep threat caught three passes for 121 yards,

including gains of 57 and 40 yards.

The Fountain Valley transfer’s speed forced a handful of pass

interference and holding penalties.

He completed 11 of 19 passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns and has

yet to throw an interception.
