SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $2 each. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with fruit yogurt or hamburger on a bun with

lettuce and pickle, choice of 100% fruit juice, choice of milk

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken nuggets with dipping sauce, freshly

baked roll, veggie sticks, choice of fruit, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or sourdough French bread cheese pizza, jicama

sticks with low-fat dip, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken gordita with lettuce and cheese,

choice of fruit, choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or cheeseburger on a bun or veggie burger with

cheese, lettuce and pickle, choice of 100% fruit juice, choice of milk

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
