Girls tennis: Sailors dominate Irvine

Newport Harbor’s singles players swept their matches en route to a

16-2 victory over host Irvine in a Sea View League tennis match on

Tuesday.

Vanessa Dunlap won, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 3 singles. No. 1 singles

player Megan Hawkins won, 6-3, 6-1, 6-0, while No. 2 Kelly Nelson earned

a 6-4, 6-2, 6-0, victory.

The Sailors improve to 2-0 in league. Irvine falls to 0-2 in
