17TH ANNUAL FOOD, WINE & MICRO-BREW FEST

Every once in a while you get a chance to do something good for

yourself while doing something good for others. The 17th annual Food,

Wine & Micro-Brew Fest, to be held Thursday at South Coast Plaza, is one

of those times.

The food-filled event raises funds for Second Harvest Food Bank of

Orange County during Hunger Awareness Month, otherwise known as October.

“Every dollar raised provides 30 meals,” said C.J. Sprague,

development coordinator for the Food Bank.

Some of the restaurants, breweries and wineries serving up samples

include Birraporettis, Ho Sum Bistro, Maggiano’s Little Italy, The

Clubhouse, Plum’s Cafe and Catering, Boudin Bakery, Quattro Cafe, Rock
