police officer and exhibited a weapon other than a firearm at 1:50 a.m.

Saturday.

* Newport Boulevard: A physical fight was reported in the 2600 block

at 2:30 a.m. Friday.

* South Coast Drive: A hit-and-run involving property damage was

reported in the 900 block at 12:11 a.m. Sunday.

* Victoria Street: A subject resisted an officer in the 500 block at

3:39 a.m. Sunday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Irvine Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 600 block at

6:09 p.m. Saturday.

* McFadden Place: A hit-and-run involving a parked vehicle was

reported in the 100 block at 9:46 p.m. Saturday.

* Santa Rosa Drive and Newport Center Drive: A petty theft was

reported at 10:43 p.m. Saturday.

* 34th Street and Seashore Drive: A suspicious subject was reported at

8:58 a.m. Sunday.

* Via Lido Sound: A grand theft was reported in the 300 block at 10:59

a.m. Sunday.
