WEATHER FORECAST
The skies will begin partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid- to
high 60s, but will clear up to provide mostly sunny conditions and a high
in the mid-70s in Costa Mesa and in the low 70s in Newport Beach.
The starry skies will remain mostly clear overnight, which will be in
the low 60s. Temperatures should be slightly warmer Wednesday.

BOATING FORECAST
There’s nothing unusual in the harbor as today’s westerly winds blow
about 10 to 15 knots and generate waves about 2 feet and a west swell of
4 feet. Expect fog to develop overnight.
Out farther, there will be areas of dense fog in the morning though
the northwesterly winds will blow their typical 10 to 15 knots, creating
waves of 2 feet and a northwest swell of 7 feet.
SURF
By the afternoon, waves will roll in between the waist and head with
the occasional 7-footer. Expect the conditions to continue Wednesday and
to get even better on Thursday when more overheads come in.
