Girls golf: Sea Kings still undefeated
DANA POINT - The Corona del Mar High girls tennis team responded
from last weekend’s upset loss to Peninsula with a 16-2 nonleague rout at
highly regarded Dana Hills Wednesday.
CdM junior Anne Yelsey scored a 7-5 victory over Katie Pooler and went
on to post shutout victories in her next two matches. Sophomore Brittany
Holland also swept her singles matches for the Sea Kings (10-0), while
the doubles teams of Leslie Damion-Taylynn Snyder and Katie
Tenerelli-Juliette Mutzke swept as well.
Corona will return to Pacific Coast League action at Northwood, today
at 3:15 p.m.

Doubles - Damion-Snyder (CdM) def. Boronowicki-Wilson, 7-5, def.
Beck-Reames, 6-1, def. Colton-Vyhnis, 6-3; Rubenstein-Minna (CdM) lost,
4-6, won, 6-2, 6-2; Tenerelli-Mutzke (CdM) won, 7-5, 6-2, 6-2.
