Despite the hard running of Josh Gutierrez, Timothy Robinson, Cole
Lewis and Ryan Small, the White Dolphins could only muster 70 yards of
offense in falling to undefeated Cerritos. “Both Josh and Cole ran really
hard but Cerritos has a couple of big kids with speed and we just
couldn’t get away from them,” White Dolphins coach Dave Small said. “We
have a tough team of 7-year-olds and we are getting better each week.”
Huntington Beach resumes play Oct. 20 by hosting La Mirada at Ocean View
High in a 1 p.m. kickoff.
