Lake Arthur, about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Susan Turner and her husband, Gary, traveled throughout the American

Southwest. They stopped in Sedona, Ariz. for a photograph with the

Independent and “Snoopy Rock.” Snoopy can be seen lying on his back over

Susan’s left shoulder.

Huntington Beach resident Cindy Terhune read her Independent under a

coconut tree in Hanalei, Kauai Hawaii.

Betty Swift, of Fountain Valley, vacationed on Highland Lake in

Goshen, Mass.

Bridgette Ayala-Tiezzi and Jamie Wojciechowski, of Huntington Beach,

sailed the British Virgin Islands on board a tall Windjammer ship during

their vacation.

Wray Mitchell, of Huntington Beach, visited the Acropolis in Athens,

Greece during her Mediterranean cruise. Her trip also took her to

Barcelona, Nice, Naples, Rome, Venice and Istanbul.
