Sailors drop 13-8 decision

Newport Harbor High’s Sailors fell victim to a talented boys water

polo team from La Jolla Saturday as The Bishop’s pulled out a 13-8

nonleague victory in the Newport pool.

Harbor, led by the scoring of Michael Bury, who had four goals,

trailed by a 6-5 edge at halftime, but The Bishop’s pulled away in the

second half for the five-goal margin.

Newport falls to 9-7 overall. The Sailors are 2-0 in the Sea View

League.
