Frank Foster was invited to join the board of directors of the of the

Newport Beach-based Fieldstone Group of Cos. Foster is president and

chief executive of the Fieldstone Group of Cos. He is also involved in

community work, serving on the board of directors of the Orangewood

Children Foundation. . . . Greg Coghill has been appointed chief

operating officer of the Newport Beach office of Wimberly Allison Tong &

Goo, an architectural, planning, design and consulting firm. Coghill will

be responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s

policies, procedures and quality standards, as well as the optimization

and allocation of resources. Coghill joined the firm in 1983 and was

appointed managing director of the Newport Beach office in 2000. He has

worked on many resort developments, such as The Ritz-Carlton in Laguna

Niguel, Naples, Fla., and Maui. He has also worked on international such

projects as the Legoland Family Theme Park in Windsor, England. . . .

Deanna Robinson, the owner and president of Deanna Robinson Interiors

Inc., was honored with a gold award for excellence in design on Sept. 22

at the Westin South Coast Plaza. The company is a Costa Mesa-based

international design firm specializing in custom residential interior

design. Robinson won the award for a kitchen design she created for a

local client, and was one of 23 designers and architects who submitted

entries to the first annual Orange County Home Design Awards. . . .

Kristin Neustein of Corona del Mar completed an Alaskan mountaineering

course with the National Outdoor Leadership School. Neustein explored the

Chugach Mountains on Alaska’s coast, which are some of the most heavily

glaciated mountains in the world. The group traveled and lived on

glaciers, learning skills such as crevasse rescue and technical snow and

ice climbing. . . . Robert H. Osbrink was named executive vice president

and regional managing director of Grubb & Ellis Co.’s Southern California

operations. The company has offices in Newport Beach and throughout

Southern California. Osbrink’s new duties include transforming the

company from a brokerage and property management company to a

full-service business advisory firm. Osbrink joined Grubb & Ellis in 1988

as vice president and sales manager of the company’s Newport Beach

office. . . . Madeline Zuckerman, president of Madeline Zuckerman Public

Relations & Marketing Inc., announced that her Newport Beach firm has

been selected by Giorgio Armani Corp. to launch the new Giorgio Armani

boutique at South Coast Plaza. The new Giorgio Armani boutique will be in

the spot previously occupied by Emporio Armani. The Zuckerman Agency will

handle all media and public relations for the grand opening event in

early November.
