California state Sen. Ross Johnson and state Assemblyman John Campbell

will demystify state government when they talk at the Newport Sunrise

Breakfast of the Newport Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday.

In a talk tailored to Sacramento outsiders, the duo will discuss the

basics of state government business and how it affects Californians,

including taxes and current hot topics, such water quality and workers

compensation.

The breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the Radisson Hotel
