Willie Fiscus rushed for two touchdowns and caught a pass for another

score Saturday to lead the Huntington Beach Dolphins past the Buena Park

Eagles, 28-12.

The Dolphins took a 14-0 lead on a 26-yard run by Fiscus and a

three-yard scoring run by fullback Brian Dies, with Brian Shrock hitting

Dallas Gomez with a conversion pass following Dies’ run.

Buena Park cut the lead to 14-6 with 2:39 left in the half but Shrock

marched the Dolphins, who were running their two-minute offense, down

field and completed the drive by hitting Fiscus in the corner of the end

zone with 30 seconds remaining. Kyle Bonham scooted in for the conversion

to give Huntington Beach a 22-6 halftime cushion.

The Dolphins led 22-12 in the second half and put the game away with a

nice drive that featured key runs by Dies and Michael Clark and big

receptions by Curtis Crandell and Taylor Grosso. Fiscus found the end

zone on a short run to complete the scoring.

The Dolphins, who also received strong performances from captains

Anthony Pancoast and Bonham, Ben Atencio, Nate Borden, Shane Keating and

Sean Dibsy, open playoff action Saturday at Inglewood High against the

Norwalk/Santa Fe Saints.
