CHURCH PROGRAMS: Prime Time, Sunday school for junior high and senior

high school students meet at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning. Numerous other

groups and Bible studies meet throughout the week.

OUTREACH PROGRAMS: The congregation is active with the Presbyterian

Worldwide Ministries; it supports the Near East School of Theology and

the Contact and Resource Center, Lebanon; Hands Across the Border in

Mexico; Ministerios Hispanos; an Adopt-a-Social Worker program through

Los Ranchos Presbytery; the Oakview Literacy Center and the Shelter for

the Homeless.

VISION STATEMENT: We at Saint Peter’s By-The-Sea are a fellowship of

believers empowered by the holy spirit to show the love of Jesus Christ

to one another, to the community and to the world by providing: A place

for joyful worship; A place where the love of God enables us to act as

disciples of Jesus Christ promoting peace, hope and redemption; A place

to future Christ mission throughout the world; A place where spiritual

renewal encourages us to live with integrity; A place of refuge from the

pain and pressures from life; A place where hospitality and good humor

abound and where all are accepted.

INTERESTING NOTE: Special Christmas and holiday services are planned.

The church is working to buy property adjacent to its present facilities

in the near future in order to build additional facilities.
