Newport Beach-based real estate firm CT Realty Corp. has purchased the

former Callaway Golf Co. headquarters in Carlsbad for $4.8 million. The

firm plans to redevelop the building for multi-tenant use.

CT Realty plans to invest more than $1 million to redevelop the

53,000-square-foot, two-story building, which sits on 2.8 acres at 5931

Priestly Drive.

The building will be converted for 100% office use, and there will be

more parking available.

An additional elevator, a new entrance and upgraded professional

landscaping, along with exterior paint, will be added to the building

during the renovation.

CT Realty has completed more than 100 transactions totaling $914

million since its establishment in 1994.

Callaway Golf relocated its corporate offices in August to another

Carlsbad site.
