Hobie Sports will have its 26th annual Ski and Snowboard Swap Meet at

10 a.m. Saturday. It’s a great time to trade in old winter sports gear

and save on new equipment. The sale is in the back parking lot at Hobie’s

shop in Corona del Mar, and there is no charge to sell used equipment.

There will be all kinds of discounts on new equipment and clothing items,

including parkas priced from $25 and kids specials. The Ski and Snowboard

Swap Meet will start off the annual Hobie trade-in program for kids. It’s

the best deal in Orange County for children participating in winter

sports. All kids equipment that’s purchased during the season can be

traded in when outgrown for half of the purchase price, to be used toward
