BOATING FORECAST

A light southwesterly wind will blow this afternoon in the inner

waters. They’ll blow less than 10 knots early and then pick up to 10 to

15 knots. Waves will be in the 2-foot range with a west swell of 4 feet.

Expect patches of dense fog both early and late.

Out farther, the winds will blow less than 15 knots all day, with

similar 2-foot waves and a northwest swell of about 9 feet. Again,

anticipate dense fog early and late.

SURF

Today won’t be pretty, with surf back in the knee- to waist-high

range. Things should pick up eventually this week, specifically Sunday.

It’s then that waves in the waist- to shoulder-high range are expected to

take shape. However, possible sprinkles will make things a bit more

interesting.
