Blue Tidal Waves roll along

The Blue Tidal Waves, a girls’ Under-10 soccer team out of AYSO Region

55, continued its winning ways last weekend by collecting two more

victories.

The wins put the playoff-bound Blue Tidal Waves at 9-0. This weekend’s

game will end the regular season.

The first weekend victim, the Poison Ivy, fell, 6-1. Kirsten Maroney

topped all scorers with three goals, Katie Bogard added two more and

Devon Shinn finished with one.

Shinn also had three assists and Bogard had two. Sweeper Nicole

Camarillo led a strong defensive charge that also featured twins Taylor

and Erika Degrote.

The Blue Tidal Waves also had an easy time with the Scoring Chicks,

who were limited to a single goal in a 5-1 setback. Shinn led the way

with three goals and Bogard and Maroney each scored once.

Camarillo again led the way on defense, which featured strong play in

goal by Erika Degrote and Megan White.
