WEATHER FORECAST

Though it’ll be partly cloudy throughout the day, it’ll be warm, with

highs in the mid-70s in Costa Mesa and the low 70s in Newport Beach.

Overnight, lows will dip into the low 60s and high 50s in Newport-Mesa.

On Saturday, cooler temperatures in the low 70s and high 60s will

prevail under partly cloudy skies. Sunday will be even cooler with

possibilities of precipitation. But have fun under dry conditions today.

BOATING FORECAST

Light westerly winds will blow 10 knots or less throughout the day in

the inner waters. The waves will be about a foot or less with a west

swell of 2 feet. Expect fog early and late.

Out farther, the waves will also be light at about 10 knots or less with waves of a foot and a northwest swell of 5 feet.

SURF

Small waves will roll in today in the form of knee- to waist-highs.

They should start picking up late Saturday and Sunday when waist- to

shoulder-highs and the occasional head-high will hit the shores.
