BOATING FORECAST

In the inner waters, the westerly winds will become northwesterly,

blowing 10 to 15 knots with waves of about 2 feet and a west swell of 4

to 6 feet. The swell may eventually build to 5 to 9 feet. By night,

though, the swell may reach 10 feet.

Out farther, the northwesterly winds will blow 15 to 20 knots, with

waves of 1 to 3 feet. A small craft advisory may go into effect as a

result of a huge west swell of 8 to 11 feet in the afternoon. That may

increase to 12 to 16 feet by night, with winds becoming 15 to 25 knots.

Patchy dense fog will also be encountered.

SURF

Waves should hit in the waist- to shoulder-high range today, but will

build up to the head-high range Wednesday, thanks to another northwest

swell.
