Huntington Beach resident Wyatt Collins, 4, won second place in the

championship pumpkin pie eating contest sponsored by HomeTown Buffet

during the annual Halloween Hearse, Bug and Monster Car Show held at the

Orange County Market Place in Costa Mesa. Also during the event Mike

Hondorp, of Huntington Beach, won the award for best Camaro with his 1969

Z-28 model. Steve Moore of Huntington Beach won the best 1955-57 Chevy

Award with his 1957 model. . . . Marine Corps Lance Cpl. David Smith

recently reported for duty with 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Smith is the son of John Smith of Huntington Beach, Jean Smith of

Indianapolis, Ind. He is a 2000 graduate of Edison High School.
