WEATHER FORECAST

BOATING FORECAST

Close to shore, expects the wind to blow northwest at 10 to 15 knots,

creating wind waves of 2 to 4 feet. A western swell of 4 feet is

predicted. By nightfall, the winds will kick up to 15 to 25 knots, still

coming from the northwest, and then will die down overnight.

Further out, the wind will blow northwest between 15 and 25 knots, with wind waves of 2 to 4 feet. A northwest swell of 10 to 14 feet is expected. By nightfall, the winds should calm to between 10 and 15 knots, with wind waves of 1 to 2 feet by Saturday morning.

SURF

The solid surf of yesterday, due to a strong west-northwest swell, is

expected to start slowly ebbing away. However, you should still see waves

in the 4 to 6 foot range today.
