WEATHER FORECAST

A cloudy morning is the best the day has to offer. The temperatures

will kick off in the mid-50s and only get as high as the mid-60s,

partially thanks to the rain that should be falling by the early

afternoon. And then keeps falling.

Windy and rainy today. Most of the day will see southeast winds

blowing near 20 knots in the local waters, and they will kick up 3-foot

after nightfall.

The deeper waters will see some strong winds in the afternoon at

aabout 25 knots from the south. They will turn to the west and northwest

after the sun goes down. Rain and rain and rain.

Not much of a swell, eh? The swell-that-wasn’t continues to back down

today with most of Newport Beach only in the shoulder- to head-high
