College women’s basketball: Lions fall

The Vanguard University women’s basketball team lost to Cal State

Stanislaus, 77-58, in the Sunbird Thanksgiving Classic Saturday at Fresno

Pacific University.

Kelly Boeke scored a career-high 24 points and had 10 rebounds for the

Lions (2-2). Erin Edmiston, Sonia N’Dri and Deborah Candelaria each

scored six points for Vanguard. N’Dri also chipped in with nine rebounds.
