SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $2 each. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or chicken fried steak,

corn on the cob, fresh baked roll, choice of fruit, choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY

Vegetarian health sandwich or carnitas tostada with lettuce, cheese

and salsa, choice of 100% fruit juice, Coco’s fresh baked cookie, choice

of milk.

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chalupa boat with shredded lettuce and salsa,

choice of 100% fruit juice, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or Oriental chicken salad with baked whole grain

roll or toasted cheese sandwich, veggie sticks, rosy applesauce, choice

of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or chicken patty sandwich on a bun, baby carrots

with ranch dip, choice of 100% fruit juice, choice of milk

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
