‘TIS THE SEASON FOR HOLIDAY SHARING: Harbor Mesa Lions are busy

gathering gifts and donations for two families in Costa Mesa this year

and for the Boys & Girls Club Santa Shop. Lions Barbara Hayward and Joan

Parks are co-chairing the Families Christmas project and members are

asked to bring wrapped and tagged items for the names they have drawn to

the Monday meeting. The gifts and food certificates will be given to the

families shortly before Christmas. Lion Sandi Scheafer is heading the

Boys & Girls Club project and members are urged to bring unwrapped gift

items in the $5 to $10 range suitable for a boy or girl to give to their

mom or dad. The boys and girls have been earning points for good

citizenship throughout the year to qualify for the gifts.
