Girls basketball: Sage Hill falls

Carrie Clark scored 31 points, but it wasn’t enough for Sage Hill

as the Lightning lost to Fairmont, 55-44, in a nonleague girls basketball

game Monday.

Clark had eight rebounds and four assists. Katie Puishy chipped in

with six rebounds and Nadia Rabbani had five for Sage Hill (0-2).

The Lightning trailed five points at the half, but Fairmont went on a

14-2 run in the third quarter to pull away.
