Katrina Jasulaitis (not pictured) started a fund-raising club at

Corona del Mar High School called, I “CAN” Make a Difference and

immediately went into action by Christmas wrapping at Barnes & Noble for

donations, said DiAnna Pfaff-Martin of the Community Animal Network. In

two hours, $51 was donated from the club’s efforts, she said.

Pfaff-Martin also said that, as a result of September’s terrorist

attacks, the network has received fewer donations and pet adoptions. Due

to that, the network has incurred thousands of dollars in debt in animal

medical and housing bills.

“Please help save our organization and allow us to continue our

ministry with local animals,” said Pfaff-Martin, who noted that credit

card donations may be made by calling (949) 759-3646.
