Girls basketball: Lightning shines

Sage Hill High fell behind early, but rallied to earn a 37-24

victory over visiting Connelly in a nonleague girls basketball game

Tuesday for the Lightning’s first win in three starts.

The Lightning trailed by six after the first quarter, but went on a

21-8 run to pull away. Carrie Clark scored 14 points and had four steals,

four rebounds and two assists for Sage Hill.

Katie Pushier had 10 points and 10 rebounds. Carley Clark also scored

10 points and Jessica Tsoong contributed with five steals.
