Golden West College is presenting its annual Visual Arts Faculty

Exhibition. The exhibit will include the work of full-time and adjunct

Golden West College faculty. The show will run through Dec. 14 at the

Golden West College Gallery on the campus, 15744 Goldenwest St. Gallery

hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6 to 9 p.m.

SATURDAY

The Huntington Beach Art Center is presenting a group exhibition

featuring photographers Ulla Barr and Christine Nguyen, and painters

Patty Doody and Patrick Williams. The exhibit, titled “Four From the

Floor” features works that capture memories or realities that are either

imagined, splintered or commercialized. New mosaic works from Helen

Fallon will be featured in the Art Center Store. “Four From the Floor”

will run from Dec. 15 to Jan. 13. There will be an opening reception from

7 to 9 p.m., Dec. 15 at the center, 538 Main St. Information, (714)

SUNDAY

The Huntington Beach Elks Lodge 1959 is sponsoring a health fair from

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 8 at the lodge, 7711 Talbert Ave. The public is

invited to participate. Included will be fingerprinting of children for

parents’ records, glaucoma screening, chiropractor, neck massage and

hearing screening. Free hot dogs, popcorn and soft drinks will be served.
