A man in business attire robbed a Union bank fleeing with an unknown
amount of money, police said.
The Union Bank branch at 16141 Beach Blvd. was robbed at 9:49 a.m. on
Dec. 5 when a man entered the bank through the rear doors and handed a
note to a female teller demanding money, said Huntington Beach Police Lt.
Luis Ochoa.
She gave him the money and he escaped through the same doors he
entered through, Ochoa said.
No vehicle was seen and there were no injuries. The investigation is
continuing.
Ochoa described the suspect as 25 to 30 years old, clean shaven,
5-feet-6, weighing 140 pounds and wearing a blue baseball cap, dark blue
jacket, white dress shirt, dark tie and dark blue trousers.
