SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $2 each. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with fruit yogurt or chicken gorditas with

lettuce and cheese, frozen 100% fruit juice bar, choice of milk

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or French bread cheese pizza, green beans,

choice of fruit, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or carnitas or veggie tostada with lettuce,

cheese and salsa, choice of fruit, choice of milk, freshly baked cookie

FRIDAY

Oriental chicken salad with freshly baked whole grain roll or

quesadilla, veggie sticks with ranch dip, choice of 100% fruit juice,

choice of milk

MONDAY

Winter recess through Jan. 4

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
