WEATHER FORECAST

There will be a very high tide this morning that could cause minor

flooding in some low lying areas, so have those sand bags ready.

Cloudy weather will most likely not mean significant amounts of rain

today -- although there is a 20% chance, so keep your umbrellas handy.

Showers are expected at night.

The high temperature of the day will reach 65 and the low of the day

is expected to be in the low 50s.

BOATING FORECAST

Close to shore, expect to see winds blowing east to southeast at 5 to

15 knots with wind waves of 1 to 2 feet. A swell 5 feet will come from

the west. At night, there will be a chance of showers.

Further out, expect the wind to come from the south to southeast at 5

to 15 knots. There will be wind waves of 1 to 2 feet to enhance the 9

foot northwestern swell

SURF

An astronomical high tide will make surfing unsavory until well after

10 a.m. Watch out for rip currents.

Later in the day, a new swell should help the trend of head-high sets

with in the 3 to 4 feet range. The better spots may see sets that are

larger.
