CdM boys fall, 53-47

Corona del Mar High’s boys dropped a 53-47 Estancia Coast Classic

decision to La Quinta Saturday afternoon as the Sea Kings closed out

their basketball exploits at the 16-team tournament.

Pancho Seaborn scored 25 points in a losing effort as the Sea Kings

wasted three opportunities to snap a 47-47 tie late in the 15th-place

game.La Quinta finally answered with a couple of buckets and tacked on

two free throws at the end to drop Corona del Mar to 3-13.
