* Harbor Boulevard: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 2300 block

at 12:02 a.m. Monday.

* Orange Avenue and Walnut Street: A traffic accident involving

injuries was reported at 5:15 p.m. Monday.

* Placentia Avenue: A robbery was reported in the 1800 block at 1:37

a.m. Monday.

* South Coast Drive: Embezzlement was reported in the 900 block at

6:54 p.m. Monday.

* West 18th Street and Whittier Avenue: Vandalism was reported at 9:42

p.m. Monday.

* Balboa Boulevard: Vandals reportedly slashed a car tire in the 500

block at noon Monday.

* La Jolla Drive: Travelers checks worth $400 were reported stolen

from a home in the 300 block at 5:05 p.m. Monday.

* Newport Center Drive: A cell phone was reported stolen at a movie

theater in the 900 block at 11:35 a.m. Monday.

* Palm Street: An American flag was reported stolen from a business in

the 100 block at 11:20 a.m. Monday.

* Prospect Street: A registration sticker was reportedly stolen from a

car in the 200 block at 2:30 p.m. Monday.

* Shearwater Place: Mail theft was reported at 4:39 p.m. Monday.
