Boat parade winners to be honored

The Christmas Boat Parade winners are gone, but they’re hardly

forgotten. The Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce will hold an awards

dinner to honor the people who invested their own time, money and effort

to put on a dazzling parade. The Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade

Awards Dinner and Auction will be at the Four Seasons Hotel beginning at

6 p.m. Jan. 25.

Presented by Traditional Jewelers-Fashion Island and hosted by the

Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, the event is

open to the public. It is held each year to honor winners of the annual

Christmas Boat Parade and Ring of Lights home-decorating competitions,

and also is a fund-raiser for next year’s parade.
