CdM tops Santa Margarita

The club roller hockey team of Corona del Mar High was an 8-4

winner over Santa Margarita Tuesday night at the Gretzky Center in

Irvine.

CdM dominated from the opening face-off and scored on three of its

first four shots on goal in the first period, maintaining a commanding

edge throughout.

Cole Reddin led CdM with a hat trick. Adam Freede added two goals and

two assists, with Pat Franta also netting two scores. Team captain Blake

Smith scored a goal and had three assists. Danny Tarkeshian also had an

assist. Goalie Eric Mirowitz turned aside 25 of 29 Santa Margarita shots

on goal.
