Community college football: Hall catches on to Cal
COSTA MESA - Brandon Hall, a 6-foot-4 230-pound tight end for the
Orange Coast College team last fall, will play for the University of
California Berkeley, Pirates Coach Mike Taylor said Tuesday.
Hall, OCC’s lone unanimous selection for the first-team offense of the
All-Mission Conference Central Division, finished with 295 yards and two
touchdowns on 26 receptions.
Hall, who was also an honorable mention on J.C. Grid-Wire’s
All-American picks, is attempting to enroll in spring classes and get
acquainted with the Bears coached by Jeff Tedford.
Brent Larkin, a 6-1, 289-pound two-year starter at offensive guard for
the Pirates, will play for Humboldt State next season.
