New to the video store

The unrated version of “American Pie 2” is out on DVD and will include

scenes that were apparently too outrageous for theaters. Both rated and

unrated versions will include 10 hours of entertainment. Including a

Jason Biggs faux public service announcement warning consumers of the

dangers of confusing lubricant with Ultra-Glue; home video footage shot

by the stars behind-the-scenes; and never-before-seen casting tapes from

the original American Pie auditions.

Some of the classics have made it to DVD. Now available are “9 to 5,”

“12 o’clock High,” “Alien: 20th Anniversary,” “The Bible,” “Bus Stop,”

“Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” “The Fly (1958),” “M*A*S*H,” “The

Kind and I,” “The Poseidon Adventure,” Oklahoma!” and “The French

Connection” (box Set). Other new releases include “Edward Scissorhands,”

“Boys Don’t Cry,” “Fight Club: Special Edition,” “Slums of Beverly

Hills,” “Independence Day: Special Edition” and “Freddy Got Fingered.”
