Flare for Women is a Costa Mesa-based company with the mission to

provide high-quality merchandise and accessories for the

fashion-conscience shopper.

The 17th Street boutique carries a wide selection of trend-setting

lines, including Allen B, Bella Dahl, Cosabella, Frankie B, James Perse,

Juicy Couture, Miss Sixty, Serfontaine, Welkin and Ya-Ya.

Joellen Canizaro, owner of Flare for Women, says: “We offer an

alternative to the traditional shopping mall. We are committed to

service, style and convenience.”

Modeling styles from Flare for Women is the assistant manager, Maggie

Grisham. Grisham is a native Newport Beach resident, married to local

punk rock and roll star Jack Grisham of TSOL. Maggie and Jack are the

parents of two daughters. Hair styling and makeup is by Darlene

Barringer.

1. Maggie Grisham is modeling from Bella Dahl “American Pride” Star

hoodie ($106) and “American Pride” Star sweat pants ($113). All net

proceeds from the sale of this garment will be donated to a fund to aid

families from the tragedy of Sept. 11.

2. Looking fabulous, Grisham is wearing this Allen B embroidered

fuchsia peasant blouse ($118) and Frankie B “Janis” Jean, “Charlie” in

dirty denim wash ($115).

3. This ensemble comes from Frankie B in chocolate brown velour,

“Charlie” drawstring leisure pant ($92), “Leisure Tube” ($53) and Leisure

front-zip hoodie ($99).

4. Right in style, Grisham wears this LIX “Bronco” lace-up jeans

($205) and Frankie B lace-front blouse ($66).

5. This outfit comes from Juicy Couture in burgundy velour, sweat

jacket ($88) and sweat pant ($75), with Grisham finishing off the look

with a Donna Emilla rhinestone body chain ($200).

6. Stunning and sophisticated, Grisham shows off this Frankie B black

“Cocktail” pant ($174) and Chelsea Davis black sheer silk “Tuxedo” blouse
