Girls basketball: Sage Hill denied, 69-46

The Sage Hill High girls basketball team could not stop the

offensive threat of Capistrano Valley Christian’s Stephanie Tom, who

scored a game-high 35 points and led her team to a 69-47 Academy League

home victory Tuesday.

Junior Carrie Clark led the Lightning (3-12, 0-8 in league) with 24

points, while her sister, freshman Carley Clark, chipped in 14 points and

freshman Katie Pushier grabbed 17 rebounds.

Sage Hill will host St. Margaret’s today at 6 p.m. in Academy League

action.
