Men’s basketball: Lions fall

Four Vanguard University players scored in double figures, but it

wasn’t enough as the Lions fell to host Westmont College, 91-69, in a

Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Saturday.

Shane McKim scored a team-high 15 points, followed by Damion Morbley

(13), Leviticus Williamson (12) and Josh Pierson (11). Vanguard trailed,

44-25, at halftime and never recovered.

The Lions (12-11, 8-6 in the GSAC) committed 24 turnovers to

Westmont’s 10.
