“Life Without Dick,” a comedy starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Harry

Connick, Jr. and Johnny Knoxville (MTV’s “Jackass”) will be released on

DVD. Rated PG-13. Also out that day is “Blind Date” with Bruce Willis and

Kim Basinger. Rated PG-13. Jet Li’s “Legend of the Red Dragon” will be

released. The film, directed by Wong Jing, is the epic story of a man who

Upcoming releases

Feb. 12

The romantic comedy “Mrs. Winterbourne” starring Ricki Lake, Brendan

Fraser and Shirley MacLaine will be released on DVD. Rated PG-13.

Columbia TriStar will also release a series of “Jay Jay The Jet Plane”

videos. The TV program is designed to introduce preschoolers to science

and nature. Each video has three stories, each DVD has five. They are

available in English and Spanish.

Feb. 19

Animated family films “Anastasia,” “Fern Gully,” “Thumbelina” and “A

Troll in Central Park” will be released for the first time on DVD. Voices

include Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Jack Black. [Fox Home

Feb. 26

Columbia TriStar is releasing season one of “The Larry Sanders Show.”

It will be released on DVD. The three-disc set contains all 13 episodes.

Not rated. Also being released are “Madame Butterfly” and “Va Savoir.” In

“Madame Butterfly” director Frederic Mitterand relays the story of a

young geisha who sacrifices her family, her religion and ultimately her

life for her American husband. The DVD has been remastered and includes

the featurette, “Portrait of a Butterfly.” Not rated. “Va Savoir” is a

comedy with a series of interlocking love triangles between three men and

three women. It was an official selection at the 2001 Cannes Film

Festival where director Jacques Rivette was nominated for the Golden
