Redevelopment meeting set for tonight

Those interested in finding out more about redevelopment -- on the

Westside of Costa Mesa and citywide -- should be at the Senior Center

tonight.

The Costa Mesa City Council, acting as the Redevelopment Agency, will

meet to discuss possible changes in the city. A redevelopment expert

hired by the city will be on hand to explain technical aspects of land

use, blight and other relevant components of redevelopment.

Council members will also appoint members to the newly formed Westside

Redevelopment Action Committee -- designed to forge a working plan for

the most western area of the city.

The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. today at the Senior Center, 695 W. 19th
