WEATHER FORECAST

Surprise! It’s sunny today. However, highs will dip to about 70, so

the heat wave is officially over. Overnight lows, meanwhile, will hover

just shy of 50 degrees.

Clouds will arrive overnight, so Wednesday will be only partly sunny.

Highs will still be in the high 60s. The good news is there’s no rain in

sight. Enjoy these Southern California days.

BOATING FORECAST

The westerly winds will blow 10 to 15 knots this afternoon in the

inner waters, with 2-foot waves and a west swell of 3 to 5 feet. Not much

will change into the evening.

Out farther, the northerly winds will blow 10 to 20 knots, with 1- to

3-foot waves and a northwest swell of 6 to 8 feet. The same will continue

into the evening.

SURF

The latest northwest swell was expected to peak as we slept this

morning, but the remaining waves today should still be in the waist- to

chest-high range. Wave sizes will decrease the rest of the week until

Friday, when yet another decent northwest swell comes in.
