Pistons continue on roll

The Pistons ran their win streak to nine games last weekend by beating

the Raptors, 46-24, in a National Junior Basketball Division II boys’

game played at Edison High.

Scott Marcin led all scorers with 15 points and Austin Prather added

10 more and three other Pistons got into the scoring act.

Matt Weaver finished with eight points, Wesley Davis scored six and

Sammy Captan contributed four to complete the scoring for the Pistons.

The Pistons also used a swarming defense in the fourth quarter,

leading to several fast break scoring opportunities that allowed them to

break open a close game.
